My name is Petra Strauch. I’m a German based freelance typographer and dedicated to make things good looking.
To me, it is much more interesting to capture a special moment or to find something special in the ordinary than working meticulous on a perfect photography. I have various photographic topics. Two of them are reduction and abstraction. I’m attracted to details, patterns, structures, shapes, lines and relationships—and for whatever reason especially to weird subjects and old or not so nice things. I also like to digitally transform images into something new. Last but not least, I love nature in general and especially the deserts of the Southwestern United States.
